The News Tribune hiring outside sales rep

The News Tribune in Tacoma is looking for an outside sales rep - automotive. Here are the details:

Description:

Meet monthly sales and activity goals. Exercise good communication skills and key account relationships. Create custom packaged (bundling) presentations with the objective of meeting and exceeding goals. Provide excellent customer service. Keep customers informed of all advertising opportunities. Provide accurate and timely weekly flash reports and daily pre/post call planners. Follow ad through entire process from conception to publication to insure accuracy and customer satisfaction. Other duties that may be assigned.

Requirements:

Sales and negotiating skills, package (bundling) presentation skills, computer skills, software knowledge, phone skills, excellent communication skills, organizational skills, forecasting skills, time management skills, self starter, college degree or-on-the job equivalent. Driver’s license required.


Pay is "salary plus commission"

This paper has had 4 car ads in the last week, so I am not sure how much "commission" one will earn. The VP of Advertising has recently left to move to Alabama, so this will have to become a better place to work now that he's gone.
