Massive nationwide Tea Parties draw millions (Portland Civil Rights Examiner)

The Nationwide Tea Parties were a huge Success! From coast to coast millions of people turned out on September 12th to protest big Government.

People from all walks of life, from students to retirees, from black to white across the entire ethnic and racial rainbow that is America joined together to tell Congress and the White House, enough is enough.

You have spent too much, indebted us beyond what the human mind can realistically grasp. You have pushed the Nation too far to the left towards Socialism, and today Society pushed back.

The Authorities in Washington D.C. do not give number estimates as to crowd size, but the estimate from differing news agencies such as CNN FoxNews and MSNBC give the numbers between several hundreds of thousands to 1.2 and up to 2 Million marching on D.C.

It took over 4 hours for the Marchers to move down Pennsylvania Avenue onto the mall, taking up all 4 lanes and both sidewalks. The crowd was massive and peaceful, many folks brought their children!

Big Japanese MSM Picks up Story of Massive D.C. Anti-Obama Demonstration (Sankei Shimbun News)

Here in Tokyo, folks, Japanese news article claims that anger with President Obama is increasingly rapidly and that it escalated into a massive rally against him and his health care and tax/spend policies, to the tune of ONE MILLION DEMONSTRATORS in Washington, D.C. on Saturday...

NBC Channel 5 in Chicago Completely IGNORES 912 Rally.

Just finished watching the NBC News here in the Chicago Market.

Guess what? Not a single mention of the rally in Washington DC today. Not one single second.

Oh sure, they covered some small ethnic rally in a near south side neighborhood and Obama's speech in Minnesota today for nearly 30 seconds, but for the D.C. Rally?

Silence.

Thousands Rally in Capital to Protest Big Government (NYT)

WASHINGTON — Tens of thousands of people from across the country arrived here Saturday to demonstrate against what they say is an ever-expanding intrusion of government in their lives in a culmination of a summer-long season of protests that began with an opposition to health care and grew into a broader dissatisfaction with Washington.

Tea Party Speaker:'I Thought You Would Want to Hear a Black Man Speak to You Without a Teleprompter'

Starting with author and motivational speaker Mason Weaver marvelously telling the crowd,

"I thought you would want to hear a black man speak to you without a teleprompter," followed by Lloyd Marcus singing "2010" and

Rep. Mike Pence (R-Ind.) saying, "It is time Washington, D.C., became a No Czar Zone"

Washington Post Home Page Buries Massive 9-12 Rally in Teeny-Weeny Type

The Washington Post put the 9-12 conservative rally at the top of the Sunday paper with two color pictures, one of them a wide crowd shot below the Capitol dome.

The headline was "Lashing Out at the Capitol: Tens of Thousands Protest Obama Initiatives and Government Spending."

But what stuck out like a sore liberal thumb on Sunday morning was how an Internet browser would need to look hard for it on the Washington Post home page.

The top headline was "U.S. to Give More Rights to Afghan Inmates." Below that, an evergreen story on "Wall Street Goes to Washington." Scroll down, and the next headline is "In Minn., Obama Pushes Reform." If you look hard underneath that, in small type: "Lashing Out at the Capitol."

Media Ignore ACORN Giving Business Advice to Pimp and Prostitute

You would think videos exposing representatives of the controversial organization ACORN giving advice on how a couple can get a loan to set up a brothel would be BIG NEWS?

Anonymous said...

Any word from Obama on ACORN?

So by now were all aware of the damning videos taken at the Baltimore & Washington, DC offices of ACORN teaching people how to break the law.

Four employees have been fired, and the U.S. Census has severed all ties to the organization.

Despite this, they continue to receive taxpayer dollars from HUD (Housing and Urban Development) and to my knowledge Obama has not said one word condemning ACORNs activities, despite his close ties to the organization.

Does this make The White House look complicit? What about it, Mr. President? Cat got your tongue?

ACORN Founder Wade Rathke Wanted Terrorist Attack On Republican Convention to succeed

ACORN founder Wade Rathke didn't have a problem with domestic terrorists trying to kill delegates at the Republican Party's national convention in 2008, former radical community organizer Brandon Darby suggests at Andrew Breitbart's new website Big Government.

Darby, who got to see how the ACORN crime syndicate operates up close in New Orleans, writes that after he acknowledged that he helped the FBI foil a plot to attack the RNC convention in Minnesota Rathke denounced him on his blog.

White House Concedes on Illegal Immigrant Benefit Ban (Flopping Aces)

So I guess Cong. Joe Wilson was right all along when he told Obama "You Lie!"

When President Obama insisted that illegal immigrants would not be able to participate in the Dem plan for a government takeover of health care my Congressman, Joe Wilson, snapped and yelled "you lie."

White House transcript, presidential address to a joint session of Congress September 9, 2009:

OBMAMA: There are also those who claim that our reform efforts would insure illegal immigrants.

This, too, is false. The reforms --the reforms I'm proposing would not apply to those who are here illegally.

CONG. JOE WILSON: You lie! (Boos.)

THE PRESIDENT: It's not true.

The Congressional Research Service report clearly indicates that the bills before Congress lack an enforcement provision which would prohibit illegal aliens from taking advantage of this bill.

Furthermore, in House committees Democrats voted against Republican backed amendments which would have addressed the issue.

White House Changes Tune: Admits Need for Enforcement!

Van Jones — unfit for print. (NY Post)

“This is not an excuse,” the managing editor of The New York Times said after offering the following excuse for completely missing the Van Jones story, except in a blog post:

“Our Washington bureau was somewhat short-staffed during the height of the pre-Labor Day vacation period.”

Here’s how long-staffed The New York Times actually is.

Long after Glenn Beck reported — back in July — that Jones was history’s first communist czar, and even after Gateway Pundit reported, on Sept. 3, that Jones had signed a wackadoodle 9/11 “truther” petition, The Times sent two reporters to Boston (in a story published Friday, Sept. 4) to pre-report the non-story of Joseph P. Kennedy II’s run for Ted Kennedy’s seat. (He later said he wasn’t interested.

Also, the picture of Joseph the Times ran was actually of his brother Max.)

“Our Washington bureau was somewhat short-staffed during the height of the pre-Labor Day vacation period.”

The New York Times is either lying to themselves or lying to us. Or maybe both...

I suspect if President Bush had hired a self proclaimed NAZI who called democrats assholes in a speech that they would have pulled some people back from "vacation"...

New York Times columnist Tom Friedman hails China's one-party autocracy (The Washington Examinaer)

Most of the Mussolini fans of the 1920s didn't really want a dictatorship in America, and any fair reader of Thomas Friedman's oeuvre knows that he doesn't want an authoritarian government here either; the word limit of his column apparently left him no space to regret the Chinese one-party autocracy's Internet censorship, forced sterilizations, imprisonment of political dissenters, and the like.

Thomas Friedman, "Janet Reno for President," shows that column was no fluke, continuing his multi-decade run of proving that no-nothing pomposity pays.

Newsweek Changes Subscription Strategy (Washington Post)

Money-losing Newsweek hopes to break even by 2011 and plans to as much as double its subscription rate over the next two years.

Ann McDaniel, managing director of Newsweek, which is owned by The Washington Post Co., said the magazine will aim for a

"smaller base of very committed subscribers and get more money from each of them,"

while speaking at The Post Co.'s annual shareholders meeting at the company's D.C. headquarters.

Analysts suggested that the new Newsweek is modeling its editorial strategy on England's Economist, and now it appears to be doing the same thing with its business strategy.

A subscription to the Economist costs $120 per year, whereas a subscription to Newsweek costs $37.

That figure could rise to as much as $75 by 2011, McDaniel said. The magazine division had an operating loss of $25.4 million in the first six months of this year.

Anonymous said...

Here's an idea Newsweek: put out an issue that does not have Barack Obama on the cover.

Anonymous said...

With Newsweek's “We’re All Socialist Now” and “Is Your Baby Racist” cover stories, here is a good idea.

Double the price. Cut page numbers. Outsource 99% of content to the NEA, the other NEA, SEIU, AFL-CIO, MoveOn, ACORN, DNC, Center for American Progress et al.

Should sell like gangbusters.

Anonymous said...

... the magazine will aim for a “smaller base of very committed subscribers and get more money from each of them,”

Good business sense - charge more for stuff that nobody wants to buy.

But notice Newsweek's new commitment to telling the truth, isn’t part of their plan.

This week, President Obama delivered a speech about hard work to America's schoolkids... and no one's head exploded. He then delivered a speech about the hard work of passing health care reform to a joint session of Congress... and Rep. Joe Wilson's mouth exploded. Wilson apologized to the president, then, painting himself as a victim, used the incident to fundraise -- taking in over $750,000 since Thursday (his opponent has raised over $1 million). The South Carolina Congressman's campaign website says he is "PASSIONATE ABOUT STOPPING GOVERNMENT RUN HEALTH CARE!" But, apparently, not so passionate that he won't accept the free, top-flight government-run health care he gets as a retired Army National Guard colonel. Wonder if his insurance plan covers getting his hypocrisy removed?

Is Newsweek Trying to Kill Rifqa Bary? (The American Thinker)

Rifqa Bary, the teenage girl who converted to Christianity from Islam and then fled for her life after her father threatened to kill her, faces daunting obstacles in her quest to be free.

As a high-profile apostate, she is Islamists' highest value target right now. And on top of that, she faces a Leftist media that is complicit with those who want to see her dead or institutionalized.

Witness the outrageous treatment that Newsweek gave to her story in its September 9 issue, and especially to Jamal Jivanjee, Rifqa's friend and confidante.

Newsweek reporter Arian Campo-Flores, said Jivanjee, asked him for an interview "about my connection to Rifqa Bary, as well as other questions regarding her situation."

But when Jivanjee saw the Newsweek article published, he told me in a detailed interview about the newsmagazine's unfair coverage that he was "very disappointed at the clear bias that was demonstrated in the article," and that he found many aspects of the piece "troubling."

Charlie in rental di$order (Tax cheat Rangel fails to report Harlem-pad income) NY Post

Rep. Charles Rangel reported no rental income for eight years on his rundown Harlem row house, even though public records show tenants were living there.

The powerful chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee said he received nothing from 1993 to 2000 on the six-unit building, according to federal financial disclosure forms.

But one current tenant told The Post she had lived at the building for 20 years -- and paid rent during that period.

Another said her former boyfriend called 74 W. 132nd St. home for many years, paying about $500 a month in rent.

While Rangel claims to have taken in not a dime in eight years, at least four tenants lived in the building during that time, The Post found.

The sign said it all. It was not some last-minute message some meth addict scrawled in crayon on a scrap of cardboard. No, this sign was professionally printed. White block letters on a blue background, the four-word message was in all caps. Someone had to have thought this through. Someone wrote it, edited it, planned it, designed it, ordered it, paid for it. Someone approved it, printed it, distributed it. And then someone thought this was a message he or she wanted to convey to the world. Thank goodness someone had the courage to take a photo of it, and then Huffington Post had the guts to post it on its home page.

The sign made me nauseous, made me embarrassed, made me wonder if at long last there is no decency on the far right. The sign said:

"BURY OBAMACARE WITH KENNEDY"

Oh, I get it. Sen. Kennedy is dead, and these slugs want health care reform to be dead too. That is so clever.

Fourteen days after Edward Kennedy was laid to rest in the company of his fellow American heroes in Arlington, right-wing hate-mongers decided to use his burial to make a cheap point about their opposition to health care reform.

What would they have done if liberals had printed signs that equated Ronald Reagan's burial with the hoped-for death of George W. Bush's plan to privatize Social Security? Or Bill Buckley's painful passing with the GOP's loss of the White House in 2008? Or the demise of my right-wing former colleague Bob Novak with the expiration of the Bush tax cuts? You can't imagine that, can you? Because, while we progressives have our moments of frustration and our occasional lack of couth, there is nothing I can think of that compares to the sick, savage sign that the teabaggers were waving in Washington.

The inmates have taken over the asylum. The ever-sunny Reagan is dead. The congenial Buckley is dead. The old-school conservative Novak is dead as well. In their place is the party of Joe the Shouter and Joe the Plumber and Sarah the Death Panel Screecher.

They hate Pres. Obama - even though he has bent over backwards to accommodate Republicans. They hate tax increases - even though the Democrats have cut taxes for 95% of Americans. They hate health care reform - even though Ted Kennedy fought his whole life to get them the same health care millionaires like him already had.

There was not, to my knowledge, a sign that said, "Let's Bury Medicare," even though Medicare is precisely the sort of single-payer, government-run, socialized health insurance the whack-jobs say they hate. Nor did I hear about a sign that said, "Let's Bury Tricare," although the military health system is as socialized as Britain's, its beneficiaries (including, according to Newsweek, Congressclown Joe Wilson of South Carolina) are very happy with their socialized health care. Nary a sign, so far as I know, decried the Bush prescription drug entitlement, even though it ballooned the deficit, enriched the pharmaceutical companies and furthered the supposed slide toward socialism. Nor, I'm told, were there any signs criticizing the $2 trillion Mr. Bush's unjust, unwarranted, unwise war in Iraq will cost our children and grandchildren. Nor ever a single sign about the Bush tax cuts, which helped squander the Clinton surplus. If this were about fiscal policy, the protests would have happened long ago.

These tea parties are, at least for some, more about hate than high-minded debate. Anyone who needed proof need look no further than the sign captured in the photo on the front page of the Huffington Post.

Boy, Oh, Boy

The normally nonchalant Barack Obama looked nonplussed, as Nancy Pelosi glowered behind.

Surrounded by middle-aged white guys — a sepia snapshot of the days when such pols ran Washington like their own men’s club — Joe Wilson yelled “You lie!” at a president who didn’t.

But, fair or not, what I heard was an unspoken word in the air: You lie, boy!

The outburst was unexpected from a milquetoast Republican backbencher from South Carolina who had attracted little media attention. Now it has made him an overnight right-wing hero, inspiring “You lie!” bumper stickers and T-shirts.

The congressman, we learned, belonged to the Sons of Confederate Veterans, led a 2000 campaign to keep the Confederate flag waving above South Carolina’s state Capitol and denounced as a “smear” the true claim of a black woman that she was the daughter of Strom Thurmond, the ’48 segregationist candidate for president. Wilson clearly did not like being lectured and even rebuked by the brainy black president presiding over the majestic chamber.

I’ve been loath to admit that the shrieking lunacy of the summer — the frantic efforts to paint our first black president as the Other, a foreigner, socialist, fascist, Marxist, racist, Commie, Nazi; a cad who would snuff old people; a snake who would indoctrinate kids — had much to do with race.

. . .
For two centuries, the South has feared a takeover by blacks or the feds. In Obama, they have both.

The state that fired the first shot of the Civil War has now given us this: Senator Jim DeMint exhorted conservatives to “break” the president by upending his health care plan. Rusty DePass, a G.O.P. activist, said that a gorilla that escaped from a zoo was “just one of Michelle’s ancestors.” Lovelorn Mark Sanford tried to refuse the president’s stimulus money. And now Joe Wilson.

. . .
It may be President Obama’s very air of elegance and erudition that raises hackles in some. “My father used to say to me, ‘Boy, don’t get above your raising,’ ” Fowler said. “Some people are prejudiced anyway, and then they look at his education and mannerisms and get more angry at him.”

Clyburn had a warning for Obama advisers who want to forgive Wilson, ignore the ignorant outbursts and move on: “They’re going to have to develop ways in this White House to deal with things and not let them fester out there. Otherwise, they’ll see numbers moving in the wrong direction.”

Horror of Horrors! Leftists Spots One "Kill Obamacare" Sign Among Crowd of 2 Million-- Freak Out

Evidently, when the left pimps children to push nationalized health care at a senator's funeral, it's OK.

...When the left changes the name of the plan to takeover the health care industry to "Teddycare", it's fine.

But, when the Left spots ONE SIGN in a crowd of 2 million protesters that says "Bury Obamacare," they freak out:

ACORN 2008 Urban GOTV Plan
“The core of ACORN’s GOTV model is personal door-to-door contact. We know the best way to reach people and deliver a strong message that they will remember is face-to-face on the doors. By doing this we can ID specific voters who have said Yes, and keep track of exactly which voters and households we’ve had contact with.”

During Voter Registration drives, ACORN - using money obtained from its 501(c)(3) Project Vote - would use the voter registration cards after attaching propaganda designed to increase membership. ACORN would sign up voters as provisional members and then contact them using information gleaned from the cards to turn the voter into a dues paying member. Data entry of voter information was handled at 34 cents a card after they were shipped to the Brooklyn ACORN office. According to internal documents [ACORN had a strategic plan to build is membership off of voter registration drives paid for by donations and government funds]

Our liberal troll has posted two long, long leftist articles, one from the Huffington post, and the other M. Dowd from the NYT. This is another way they plan to infiltrate and ruin any blog that they disagree with the political philosophy. Tomorrow there will three long posts and then more until they have taken over the blog. This is how liberals work, and we have seen their thuggery before. The trolls knows this is a conservative blog, and the leftist Huffington Post is not of interest, but still posts entire articles. That is nothing but thuggery. MW has become a good conservative news aggregate and the liberals can’t stand that. Posting whole articles is not a freedom of speech issue, and I am certain it is very much against the copyright rules of the NYT. If a troll wanted to cause trouble for a blog, the NYT would be the one to copy in total.

City Lawmakers Rally Around Embattled Rep. Rangel ("Leave tax-cheat Charlie the hell alone!")
WCBSTV

NEW YORK (CBS) - City lawmakers are rallying around Congressman Charles Rangel as the House Ethics Committee looks into his finances.

Supporters say everyone needs to wait before passing judgment. There were dozens of voices Saturday, many of them local politicians, pleading for patience.

"We ask for fairness," City Council member Inez Dickens said.

"We want to expose the truth," councilwoman Melissa Mark Viverito said.

"Leave Charlie the hell alone!" Reverend Reggie Williams, of the American Red Cross, said.

All of the protesters were asking for the public to withhold judgment on Rangel until comment first comes from the ethics committee.

"Our congressman is a victim of a smear campaign!" Espaillat said.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says she will not give in to public demands for Rangel's removal as head of the House Ways and Means Committee.

'Slumlord' Violations
New York Post

While Charles Rangel lived across the street in luxury Harlem digs, his tenants coped with collapsing ceilings, sinking floors and roaches.

In just one apartment in the six-unit building on West 132nd Street, city inspectors found nine violations in 2003.

Rangel and his wife, Alma -- the landlords -- were ordered to repair the wood floor in the entire apartment, plaster, paint, fix broken bathroom tiles and faulty window frames, and get rid of roaches and mice.

The city also found that the Rangels failed to file the building's annual occupancy statement five times between 1982 and 1996.

White House Dismisses Dowd Claim That Wilson Outburst Was Race-Based (FOXNews.com)

Dowd wrote in her column that Wilson's outburst Wednesday -- when he shouted, You lie," at the president for claiming his health care reform plan would not cover illegal immigrants -- convinced her that racial angst is the underlying motive among Obama critics like Wilson.

"I've been loath to admit that the shrieking lunacy of the summer ... had much to do with race," she wrote. "But Wilson's shocking disrespect for the office of the president -- no Democrat ever shouted 'liar' at W. when he was hawking a fake case for war in Iraq -- convinced me: Some people just can't believe a black man is president and will never accept it."

Dowd wrote that Wilson "clearly did not like being lectured and even rebuked by the brainy black president presiding over the majestic chamber."

(snip)

Asked about the claim, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said race is not the factor.

"I don't think the president believes that people are upset because of the color of his skin," he said on CNN's "State of the Union."

"I think people are upset because on Monday we celebrate the anniversary of the Lehman Brothers collapse that caused a financial catastrophe unlike anything we've ever seen."

Obama's Dissolving Credibility

Obama had spent 20 years listening to the sermons of Jeremiah Wright, full of venomous anti-Americanism and attacks on "white America." No Country for Sick Men
To judge the content of a nation's character, look no further than its health-care system.

"Us Canadians, we're kind of understated by nature," Marcus Davies told me in his soft-spoken way. "We don't go around chanting 'We're No. 1!' But you know, there are two areas where we feel superior to the U.S.: hockey and health care."

Davies is an official of the Saskatchewan Medical Society, so it's not surprising that he would want to extol Canadian medicine. But that feeling of patriotic pride in the nation's health-care system is something that just about all Canadians share. They love to point out that Canada provides coverage for everybody, usually with no copay and no deductible—while the U.S. leaves tens of millions of its citizens uninsured. They love to remind us that, while the U.S. lets some 700,000 people go bankrupt due to medical bills each year, the number of medical bankruptcies in Canada is precisely zero.

Yet I wasn't inclined to let Davies go unchallenged. I agreed that Canada does an admirable job of providing free and prompt care to anybody with an acute medical condition. But for nonemergency cases, the system often provides nothing but a long wait. Last summer I tried to get an appointment with an orthopedist in Canada to treat my aching right shoulder; the waiting time, just for an initial consultation, was 10 months. How could you be proud of that?

"You're right," Davies said frankly. "We keep people waiting, to limit costs. But you have to understand something basic about Canadians. Canadians don't mind waiting for elective care all that much, so long as the rich Canadian and the poor Canadian have to wait about the same amount of time."

In that last sentence, Davies set forth the national ethic of health care in his country: medicine is not a commodity to be sold to the highest bidder, but a right that must be distributed equitably to one and all. In short, the Canadians have built a health-care system that neatly fits the Canadian character: ferociously egalitarian, but thrifty at the same time.

I found that same pattern—a health-care system that reflects a nation's basic cultural values—everywhere I went when I traveled the world for a PBS documentary and a book about how other wealthy countries provide health care. "The fundamental truth about health care in every country," notes Princeton professor Uwe Reinhardt, one of the world's preeminent health-care economists, "is that national values, national character, determine how each system works."

The design of any country's health-care system involves political, medical, and economic decisions. But the primary issue for any health-care system is, as President Obama made clear last week, a moral question: should a rich society provide health care to everyone who needs it? If a nation answers yes to that moral question, it will build a health-care system like the ones in Britain, Germany, Canada, France, and Japan, where everybody is covered. If a nation doesn't decide to provide universal coverage, then you're likely to end up with a system where some people get the finest medical care on earth in the finest hospitals, and tens of thousands of others are left to die for lack of care. Without the moral commitment, in other words, you end up with a system like America's.

The independent filmmaker whose hidden-camera videos prompted the firing of four ACORN workers is demanding an apology from ACORN for calling his work a fabricated "scam" and daring the activist group to take legal action against him. "Bring it on," filmmaker James O'Keefe said Sunday on FOX News. That was after ACORN lashed out at O'Keefe, who with his friend Hannah Giles posed as a pimp and prostitute looking to evade the IRS and apply for an illegal housing loan for a brothel. The sting operation caught four ACORN workers in the Baltimore and Washington, D.C., offices appearing to offer...

Iran Snubs Barack Obama's Nuclear Talks Iran has dealt a blow to one of President Barack Obama's most ambitious diplomatic initiatives by dismissing demands to put its nuclear programme at the heart of direct talks with the United States.

"What's your solution?"

Step 1: Get the government OUT of the health care business.

Another Soldier Challenging Orders (Captain Connie Rhodes vs. Obama)

WTVM
Lindsey Connell
COLUMBUS, GA (WTVM) - A soldier set to deploy overseas is challenging her orders, arguing President Obama is not a natural-born U.S. citizen. Captain Connie Rhodes' lawyer and army officials were set to face off in federal court in Columbus Friday but the proceedings stalled. U.S. District Court Judge Clay Land held an emergency hearing but the captain, a doctor for the Army, wasn't there. Her attorney says Rhodes is due at Fort Benning Saturday but was forbidden to leave Fort Riley in Kansas to attend Friday's hearing. Orly Taitz, her lawyer, says instead of providing President Obama's vital records...

‘Operation Clean Sweep’ is off to a great start! After the great tax protest rally, the next plan is just as great. Politicians must be shown what
‘We the People’ means.

Get onboard now, 2010 is not that far away. This time regular Americans will be the driving force to take America back. No paid hacks (ACORN, Unions) need apply for duty.
Eagles Up!

Real bright. How does that get medical insurance coverage for people who have a chronic disease or lose their job? Or (assuming you also mean Medicare) are 85 years old?

if the government made it ok for individuals to pool and buy policies apart from our employers it would be a lot cheaper for everyone. If the government would stop running up the cost of drugs and defensive medicine by passing tort reform, it would be a lot cheaper for everyone. If individuals could deduct the cost of health care the way that businesses can, then the cost of health care would fall significantly.
Or are the only solutions the ones that pass more and more control to the feds?

Absurdity is rampant in the Census Bureau. They need an overhaul!

The Census Bureau’s five Race and Ethnic Advisory Committees (REACs), representing communities of color that are at higher risk of undercounting in the census and other Census.

Obviously it doesn't.

Rather than me copying and pasting volumes of text, just use google and read the GOP proposals for health care reform.

4:53: Obviously, you don't care. Nevertheless, I hope you never have to find insurance if you have a pre-existing condition and no job. And to avoid hypocrisy, you'll no doubt opt out of Medicare, and shop for your own medical insurance when you reach that age.

Hypocrisy moonbat, is insinuating that someone should opt out of coverage that they were forced to participate in whether or not they wanted it in the first place.

I really wish you could see how stupid you sound when you use such arguments, however if you could you wouldn't be a moonbat. Would you?

Thank god for public education. It makes you easy to spot from a mile out.

Obviously my rear end.
I am self employed and was rejected for coverage by insurance companies. I fear the scam of looking at my application and finding one little thing wrong so that they can deny coverage. I know well the problems of the current system. At least some of them, first hand.
I don't need to be presumed upon by you who know nothing about me.
With all of that said, we can fix a great deal of our current system without a government takeover of health care.
There is broad consensus about changes we can make ( many of which will get rid of the distortions caused by the government) to make health care more accessible and more affordable.
Unless of course, one has a different agenda, one that requires further government intrusion and an unknowable financial obligation.

How much are you prepared to pay in taxes for "free" healthcare?

Such as? And how will they get coverage for those with pre-existing conditions?
