Nominations being accepted

If you are so inclined, take a couple of minutes and nominate McClatchy Watch for a 2009 Weblog Award.

How to do it:

To nominate McClatchy Watch, first, click on the logo below, it will take you right to the nomination page:

The 2009 Weblog Awards

Best Up and Coming Blog seems like the category this blog fits into given the size of my readership.

Second, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and leave a comment on the entry. Your comment should include the following:

McClatchyWatch
http://cancelthebee.blogspot.com
http://feeds.cancelthebee.blogspot.com/McClatchyWatch

You should be able to copy the info above and paste it into the comments. (FYI, if you don't have a Movable Type account you might have to take an extra couple of minutes to register.) Then submit your comment.

That's it. Should take you a couple of minutes.

Your nominations are appreciated.

OK, back to regular programming in a little bit. Promise -- I'm not going to spend much time on the 2009 Weblog Awards since most of you come here for info on McClatchy and current news. I have some more good stuff for you later today.

I admit I'm a techo-idiot, but this on-line nomination process is REALLY a mess. I tried but failed to figure out how to submit a nomination. Sorry. McClatchy Watch certainly deserves mega-kudos.

Tried it too. What a complete meltdown! Couldn't figure it out and the navigation process is flawed. They really need to clean this up. I'll vote when it's sorted out.

MW you have been nominated, and the instructions say to just click the + symbol if you see your blog has already been nominated. Just click + on the first vote, it doesn’t take but a few seconds to vote + (me too.)

Thanks all, appreciate it.

Yes, go to the bottom of the page. Someone brighter than me, a Judy Smith has recommended MW and under her post is a little green plus. Hit it.

I too couldn't figure it out.
