Update on Bee management's proposal for new contract

The Bee Guild has posted a Pdf of management's 12-page contract proposal. Click here to see it.

Management wants to reduce severance from 40 to 26 weeks, have more flexibility to hire freelancers, and the ability to impose more furloughs.

Who cares? We don't work for the company we work for the union. We don't need no steeenkin company. The company is run by a bunch of greedy corporate dupes. The union is the source of all things good. Benefits, pay, free coffee and union dues that help us by getting democrats and Obama elected.

Go union.

What sucks is that we NEVER had a a severance of 40 weeks.....

It was always only 26 at the Most. Isn't that discrimination?
