This blog is mainly about the spectacular train wreck at The Sacramento Bee and its parent company, the McClatchy Company. But I also post about current events, the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, politics, anything else that grabs my attention. Take a look around this blog, hope you enjoy it.

Good luck to the Guild, but if it gets a 3-year deal, it will be the last union contract in Sacramento. Look for a diluted pact with many perks and outs for the company as it plans ahead to shed the Guild forever.

Aside from prone, what’s the guild's position?
The motto of the Guild is taken right from the brave Marines that protect our country.
No, not that one.
This one....
"Sir, Yes Sir!!"
Company: "Drop and give me 20!"
Guild: "Yes, sir. Thank you, sir."
Company: "Drop and give me 20 more!!"
