Today I’m writing to say we’re ca...Salient points:<br /><br />Today I’m writing to say we’re cancelling the Wall Street Journal, and the weekday Minneapolis Star New York Times. <br /><br />The reason is the daily newspapers is that most days now all three lie in a pile by the front door, wrapped in colored plastic, unread. <br /><br />I, like you, am getting much more of my news online, almost in real time. <br /><br />We just can’t justify $500 or even $250 a year for the paper edition of these three newspapers, and my reading habits have changed—and all for the better I think<br /><br />Ultimately the paper product is a business model whose day has come and gone.
