From time to time I like to bring attention to US entertainers who go to the Persian Gulf to entertain US troops. The mainstream media largely ignores it when US entertainers go to the Persian Gulf. For reasons that escape me, bloggers also don't notice. I did a little internet research today and learned that country music superstar Carrie Underwood went to the Persian Gulf during December 2006 to entertain troops. She gave several concerts in Kuwait and Iraq. The USO has a photo gallery from her trip on their web site.Previous related:
