Jordan working with other Arab countries to send aid to Iraq

Jordan is lobbying Arab countries for economic and political aid to Iraq.
Iraqi Vice President Tareq al-Hashemi said on Tuesday that Jordanian King Abdullah II made a great effort with a number of Arab countries in the recent few weeks to deal with the Iraqi issue in a positive manner.

His Majesty told me that he made efforts during the recent weeks with several gulf and Arab countries to deal with the Iraqi file in a positive way for the good of the Arab interest,” al-Hashemi’s office quoted the VP as saying.

“The king’s stance is clear and constructive and supportive to the political process,” the statement added.

Obviously this signals another failure by the cowboy diplomat who has destroyed the US standing in the Muslim world.
