From the Charlotte Observer corrections department

From the Charlotte Observer:

A story in Tuesday’s Observer about Statesville native Tom Marshburn’s first spacewalk misquoted the words of Neil Armstrong when he stepped onto the moon in 1969. Armstrong said: "That’s one small step for (a) man, one giant leap for mankind." Also, Marshburn’s name was misspelled in a caption.

Ironically, like dear leader thinking Hirohito sashayed down to the Missouri to sign surrender papers, historical real American events are forgotten by the liberals, while articles like this take center stage with our unbiased media.

Gay rights activists call for nationwide kissing demonstration

SALT LAKE CITY — Gay rights activists are organizing a nationwide string of kissing demonstrations in response to the treatment of gay couples in Utah and Texas who tangled with security guards or police after kissing in public.

The Great Nationwide Kiss-In is scheduled for Aug. 15. Events are planned for at least seven cities, including Boston, New York, Houston, Portland, Ore., and three California cities — Irvine, San Diego and San Francisco.
