This blog is mainly about the spectacular train wreck at The Sacramento Bee and its parent company, the McClatchy Company. But I also post about current events, the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, politics, anything else that grabs my attention. Take a look around this blog, hope you enjoy it.
Did they get a copy of the Death Book with their diagnosis?
WSJ: Obama and Shinseki now pressuring Veterans toward Euthanasia
The Wall Street Journal just published a shocking editorial written by a respected University President, confirming the Obama Administration is now using VA hospitals to order doctors to pressure all military veterans to sign "pull the plug" do-not-resuscitate orders, hastening their premature deaths through mandatory "end of life" counseling.
President Jim Towey of Saint Vincent's College, founder of the non-profit "Aging With Dignity" and former White House Director of faith based initiatives, wrote a blistering expose entitled "The Death Book For Veterans," revealing President Obama's new Veterans Administration (VA) directive, presumably signed by VA Secretary, General (ret.) Eric Shinseki, which mandates all veterans' primary care physicians must graphically discuss "end of life planning" with all VA patients (not merely those nearing death), and must refer them to "Your Life, Your Choices,"
a book that openly encourages Euthanasia and was written with guidance from the group formerly known as the Hemlock Society.
That same pro-suicide group now boasts on their web-site of directly leading the charge to ensure "end of life counseling" is mandated in the Obamacare bill, HR 3200.
On page 21 of the Shinseki-mandated Veteran's Euthanasia book, all military veterans are encouraged to complete a checklist of various scenarios, to decide whether their own life would be "not worth living."
For example, the booklet asks veterans 7 questions pressuring veterans to sign a "living will" that authorizes doctors to terminate your life, if you are:
1) Living in a nursing home?
2) Being in a wheelchair?
3) Not able to "shake the blues?"
4) Ever heard anyone say, "If I'm a vegetable, pull the plug?"
5) No longer able to contribute to your family's well-being?
6) Are you a severe financial burden to your family?
7) Do you cause severe emotional burden for your family?
Here is the pdf for the “death book”:
When Dear leader was campaigning, he complained about the medical care our veterans were receiving at Walter Reed.
I guess Dear Leader's plan is to just kill those boys off rather than mess around with that expensive “medicine” stuff.
I believe the White House physician slot is still open.
Anyone know where we can find Doctor Kevorkian?
Mother dies a year after being denied her daughter's kidney
(The Daily Mail U.K.)
A mother who was denied a kidney transplant from her dying daughter because of rules banning donor requests has died. Rachel Leake, 41, had been in hospital for three months with septicemia.
Her 21-year-old daughter Laura Ashworth had wanted to give her a kidney, but died in April last year before starting the process of becoming a 'living donor'.
Doctors then insisted her organs go to strangers at the top of the waiting list.
Mrs Leake spoke out to condemn the rules and the Government announced a change to the law in March, allowing donors to choose who gets their organs after they die if there is no critical need for them nationally.
Mrs Leake first underwent a kidney-transplant in 2003, but the organ failed.
Her daughter regularly spoke to friends and family about donating one of hers, but Mrs Leake refused to take her up on the offer because of her young age.
Miss Ashworth then collapsed in her mother's arms after suffering an asthma attack and died because her brain was starved of oxygen.
But there are no “death panels” to decide whether a particular patient lives or dies in the Obamacare plan.
Can hardly wait to see this story on McClatchy, ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN...uh-huh. Fat chance.
