Has Obama already decided to bail on Afghanistan?

It's looking more and more like Obama has started setting the table for an upcoming announcement that he will bail on Afghanistan. Ace isn't surprised that Obama might head for the tall grass.

This is so typical of liberal Democrats. They aren't against robust defense or war they cry, they are just always against the war we happen to actually be fighting. But some theoretical future war? Oh absolutely, under the right conditions they are so there.

When Obama makes his announcement, he'll blame Bush, and he'll complain about citizens in Afghanistan not trusting the government due to corruption in the recent election. (Of course corruption in Iran's election never bothered Obama.)

I hope I'm wrong and Obama announces he wants to see victory in Afghanistan. But if he wimps out I'll be posting the videos of Obama promising he'd get the job done in Afghanistan.

Appeasement and defeat, it's what's for dinner at the White House!

Obama doesn't have the patience or money for Afghanistan with all his attention focused on health care reform. Now, the Iranians have gone and screwed up his perfect plans. You put an amateur in the White House, don't expect professional results.

Next week my son deploys to Afganistan. I just
hope obamababoon would make a real
decision about what he wants. Either go full
bore or pull all the troops. American military are
the best in the world. Handicaped by a weeny
leader and we are doomed to failure.

This is what you get when you put a communist traitor in the White House. We deserve what we get from such trash.

Very true, Mr. A. We do indeed deserve what we get and I seriously doubt that in the end it will be a very pretty sight.

Too bad. Didn't have to be this way.

hmm, how much time has everyone here spent talking to the guys who've spent a lot of time in-country? many of them make afghanistan sound like a budding Vietnam; only with even more problems. we could have won Vietnam. we could, and arguably should, have bombed the north back into the stone age. what do we do here? bomb pakistan? start a nuclear war there? it's easy to talk tough if you're not over there getting shot at. when the bullets are flying thinks look different.
