This blog is mainly about the spectacular train wreck at The Sacramento Bee and its parent company, the McClatchy Company. But I also post about current events, the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, politics, anything else that grabs my attention. Take a look around this blog, hope you enjoy it.

$13 bucks a month sounds a little steep for the introductory cost.
The news here is that Fort Worth's competitor is doing this? Really? The news should be that the DMN is finally getting around to launching this. Or that it's a pure circulation play that will result in limited effect on the bottom line or that it will probably cost more than it makes. Papers have been launching these e-editions for a decade, and they play a niche role at best.
If MW had bothered to check, it could've found a link on star-telegram.com to the Star-Telegram's e-edition. The Morning News is using the same vendor that the Star-Telegram has used for quite a while now.
