The Sun News is interviewing for an On-Line Editor to manage the rapid development of online content, tools and strategies for the sunnews.com and related products; supervise web production; partner across the company to grow and develop online products, audience and revenue. Duties and responsibilities: Conceive, produce and ready multimedia features, including text, audio, video and still images, either thesunnews.com or for emerging technologies such as wireless media and downloadable audio, video or audio-visual broadcasts. Report, write and edit news and features for online. Manage the annual news online budget. Partner with other editors to continue developing our news culture to meet the needs of online and print audience. Collaborate with other divisions, McClatchy Interactive and other McClatchy properties to develop features and products that grow audience and revenue, where appropriate. Bachelor's degree required. Work Experience: Three years or more experience in multimedia and/or related journalism experience plus two years or more supervisory experience. Online media experience preferred. Knowledge and Skills Required: Ability to present multimedia in variety of formats, manage day-to-day projects, work quickly on multiple projects to completion, collaborate and partner across divisions including advertising and marketing as well as news. Knowledge of HTML and general multimedia editing.

Requirements:
