Firefight in Afghanistan

Time to post a photo from the war in Afghanistan. Via DVIDS
U.S. Army Soldiers from Company C, 2nd Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, fire machine guns at insurgent forces during a three-hour gun-battle in Kunar province, Afghanistan's Waterpur valley, Nov. 3.
In the final years of the Bush presidency, the Dems shouted that Afghanistan, not Iraq, was the main front in the war on terror. Funny how things change. Dems are now in charge, and they've lost their stomach to win the main front in the war on terror and are looking around for a way out. (Funny how Dems are always in favor of some theoretical war, but not the one right in front of their face.) I hope Americans don't forget about the men and women we sent to Iraq and Afghanistan.

Obama is afraid to fight and he is afraid not to fight. Caught on the horns of history, his own rhetoric and the far left of his own party, the president is simply paralyzed. All of this while brave young men fight and die for a cause their commander in chief won't believe in.
