This blog is mainly about the spectacular train wreck at The Sacramento Bee and its parent company, the McClatchy Company. But I also post about current events, the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, politics, anything else that grabs my attention. Take a look around this blog, hope you enjoy it.

Stock value and reading value have reached the same level.
Ok, you've picked up another shallow article. After you read the comments on that story, you will see.
If you look at MNI ticker on the Motley Fool (http://caps.fool.com/Ticker/MNI.aspx) you might want to check out another link on their page from MNI News and Commentary section. Either analysis from 11/4 or 11/5 is much more realistic a take with a Stock Report done by die-hard researchers and analysts.

Fanboy Stockpumper be arriving to defend his mighty McClatchy day trade any time....
We have turned the corner!
This first broke more than a week ago, but got little play I could find. Not what Gary wants to read!

No, I'm not a sock puppet or pumper. This report I point to is not all rosey, just educates more than just a sexy headline summary.
FWIW.
You buys McClatchy stock, you suffers the consequences. It's as simple as that, fools.
8:59. I bought at $.45 about 4 months ago.
Right now I don't feel much like a fool. Sorry you let the hard feelings get the better of you.
Can I buy you a cup of coffee? Or is coffee not bitter enough for you?
Garbage is the right word. You wouldn't call McClatchy stock treasure, would you?
To 11:13: A cup of coffee is about all you can buy with your McCrappy stock earnings. Even then, we might have to loan you the other 50cents, loser.
5:20, Just like most everyone else here. Never any middle ground. There's plenty between garbage and treasure.
Does everything discussed here to be either black or white? Damn.
It would be nice if this site go an award, but regretfully, some of the poster submarine the chances.
