This blog is mainly about the spectacular train wreck at The Sacramento Bee and its parent company, the McClatchy Company. But I also post about current events, the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, politics, anything else that grabs my attention. Take a look around this blog, hope you enjoy it.

Props for Kansas City Star crime reporter
John Landsberg gives props to KC Star reporter Donald Bradley for a compelling piece he wrote on the one-year anniversary of the murder of a Missouri woman. Click here for the story. . . .
This one I agree with, but the one the other day on what was nothing more than a routine Star hit piece in support of their ideological position on health care was dead wrong.
Although, even in the area of crime The Star spikes a lot of stuff that relates to the Plaza and other establishment areas they don't want people to know have crime problems.
That's the problem, so much of The Star is either ideologically driven, or driven by their ass kissing of the local establishment that you can't really trust anything they print.
The difference, for the ignorant, is I present facts that can be checked by anyone who wishes, as opposed to ignorant supposition. Derek must be in heat again.

but we can trust john to be hypercritical of the paper because they dropped his column many years ago and he still carries that grudge.
11:38 Remember the old adage that when you assume you make an ass out of you and whoever believes you.
