McClatchy editor chortles about gay protestors at Charlie Crist's wedding, confesses he has followed Crist's private life "over the years"

Apparently McClatchy editor Mark Seibel is quite the expert on Charlie Crist's private life; in a Friday post at McClatchy's website, Seibel giggles at reports gay activists will protest at Charlie Crist's wedding. Seibel also hints he has followed reports of Crist's private life "over the years."

Gay activists plan protests (and if you've followed the controversial reporting over the years on Charlie Crist's private life, you'll see the humor in the juxtaposition).
This is the same Mark Seibel who took time away from his very important duties at McClatchy to write snide posts about Joe the Plumber. (I wonder, is everybody at McClatchy's DC bureau a sneering lefty?)

Another McClatchy reporter pounces on Joe the Plumber

On Friday I noted that Mark Seibel, McClatchy's "international and national security editor" took time away from his very important responsibilities to write a sneering piece on Joe the plumber.
Now another McClatchy reporter, David Lightman (above), has joined the McClatchy Chorus of Joe bashers in a piece on McClatchy's web site.
Among the important revelations from David Lightman: Joe's first name is actually "Samuel," not Joe; and, there are two liens on his property because of unpaid taxes and other debt. .
David has been so busy exposing Joe the Plumber's tax liens he hasn't gotten around to reporting on tax liens levied against Obama campaign team.  Maybe we'll see that story after the election. (Tip for David Lightman -- Martin Nesbitt, the Treasurer of the Obama for President Campaign, and his several companies have numerous outstanding state tax liens.)

McClatchy assigns "international and national security" editor to fact-check Joe the plumber

Mark Seibel, editor of international and national security coverage at McClatchy, is apparently investigating Joe the Plumber. Here is Seibel's entry on Joe the plumber (see if you can detect Seibel's sneering condescension):

You knew it would happen. Joe the Plumber's 15 minutes of fame in last night's debate have turned into a round of public humiliation for the wannabe business owner. The Toledo Blade is reporting that Joe has no plumber's license.

To make matters worse, the Blade also found that the Ohio Department of Taxation placed a lien against Joe because $1,183 in personal property taxes had not been paid. To pile on, the paper disclosed, based on divorce records, Joe's 2006 income — $40,000, hardly enough to qualify for the tax hike he's so concerned about.

What did Joe do to earn the scorn of McClatchy's Seibel? Joe had the gall to object to The Anointed One's tax plans. And no unwashed citizen can object to an Obama proposal without getting sneered at by elites like Mark Seibel.
