This blog is mainly about the spectacular train wreck at The Sacramento Bee and its parent company, the McClatchy Company. But I also post about current events, the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, politics, anything else that grabs my attention. Take a look around this blog, hope you enjoy it.

Depressing graphic of the day
Here's a depressing graphic -- the red areas are countries where Obama has given speeches denigrating the United States. Click here for details. . . .

Correct red color. And sadly, he still has three plus years to cover the rest of the globe

Obama Justice Department Decision Will Allow Non-Citizens to Register to Vote in Georgia
Decision Bars Georgia From Continuing Voter Verification Process
Georgia Secretary of State Karen Handel issued the following statement following the U.S. Department of Justice’s denial of preclearance of Georgia’s voter verification process
Atlanta - “The decision by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) to deny preclearance of Georgia’s already implemented citizenship verification process shows a shocking disregard for the integrity of our elections. With this decision, DOJ has now barred Georgia from continuing the citizenship verification program that DOJ lawyers helped to craft. DOJ’s decision also nullifies the orders of two federal courts directing Georgia to implement the procedure for the 2008 general election. The decision comes seven months after Georgia requested an expedited review of the preclearance submission.
“DOJ has thrown open the door for activist organizations such as...
(Money Quote)...ACORN to register non-citizens to vote in Georgia’s elections, and the state has no ability to verify an applicant’s citizenship status or whether the individual even exists.
DOJ completely disregarded Georgia’s obvious and direct interest in preventing non-citizens from voting, instead siding with the ACLU and MALDEF. Clearly, politics took priority over common sense and good public policy.
The ‘Debt President’ is not the only fool blaming the USA for the nonexistent climate change. Now the clueless Clinton is visiting India, and doing her best to embarrass our country. ==== -Hillary Clinton apologizes for global warming: 'We have contributed most significantly to climate change”-
“We acknowledge now with President Obama that we have made mistakes in the United States, and we along with other developed countries have contributed most significantly to the problem that we face with climate change,"... Via: The Drudge Report
It is so amazing that these liberals feel guilty about those things that they had nothing to do with, yet can not find the decency to feel guilty about those things they directly caused.
The ooze guilt over slavery even though none of them ever owned a slave, yet will not accept the responsibility for the Great Society that destroyed the black family.
There is not a country in the world that has not made mistakes of some kind governing their countries. I have never, before Obama that is, heard of a head of state going from country to country blubbering about their country’s guilt. Obama is a weakling, and he thinks other countries will somehow think him properly contrite for coming from a prosperous nation. So far, they think he is a naive bumpkin. So much for Barry’s soaring, mea culpa speeches. Maybe he is more in tune with the Arab countries. Their histories are without stain, right?

I would think that the map also represents where that scumbag governor of South Carolina was sewing his Southern oats.
"Denigrating" the U.S.? All the examples given were examples of factual historical truth. How is that "denigrating"?
Holy &@%! this blog just jumped the shark.

Amazing.
Obama is just a scumbag traitor, an Al-Queda lover.
His association with bigot Rev. Wright and terrorist Bill Ayers is fair enough proof of that.

6:46 PM Norville Chamberlain and Jimmy Carter.
What does Obama have against the Southern Hemisphere?
