From the description is it safe to assume that Account Executive is similar in meaning to Sanitary Engineer.

From the description it is safe to assume that Account Executive is above your skill set because the job does not require someone to be a miserable whiner talking potshots whenever possible.

Then you've never met a McClatchy account executive.

The most miserable whiners there ever were.

It's understandable though. Affirmative Action Annie really thinks she is going to be an executive and then finds herself on the street corner hawking the rag when she isn't going down the yellow pages one column at a time.

Read between the lines: The ideal candidate will be willing to work for minimum wage, generate a lot of profit for McClatchy, most of which won't be shared in a pittance of a commission, sucka.
