Brilliant move!... KC Star publishes book on worst team in NFL, written by reporter dumped by the Star last year

The smart people at the Kansas City Star didn't time this scheme very well.

Could the timing possibly have been worse?

The Kansas City Star is introducing a new book highlighting the Kansas City Chiefs---the worst team in pro football---written by its long-time sportswriter who was unceremoniously dumped last November by the paper.

The book -- "A Sea of Red: 50 Years With the Chiefs and The Kansas City Star" is an account of the history of the Chiefs’ franchise, printed by the Star's book division. Jeffrey Flanagan, the author, was laid off by the Star last year.
.
As for the Chiefs, they finished last place in the AFC West last season, and are off to a sizzling 0 and 5 start this season.

Doesn't that title look like the Newspaper Industry as a whole. "Sea of Red Ink"
