Fitch: newspapers will experiment with charging for content next year, but won't succeed

Giving it all away for free online doesn't make sense either.
Of course they could try a new and innovative experiment and start reporting unbiased news.
Maybe someone other than the DNC will pay for that. I mean, how much should they charge for not covering climategate? Or ACORN? Or Obama's Chicago connections? People will only pay so much for not reading the news.
