This blog is mainly about the spectacular train wreck at The Sacramento Bee and its parent company, the McClatchy Company. But I also post about current events, the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, politics, anything else that grabs my attention. Take a look around this blog, hope you enjoy it.

More news McClatchy won't tell you about
A US soldier plays with Iraqi children near a community meeting point in the Sunni neighborhood of Arab Jabour in central Baghdad on October 18. A group of local citizens called Concerned Local Citizens Group helped distribute aid. Link here. (Note: the Reuters story says the US soldier is with "Cobra Company 1-3 Infantry." I spent some time trying to locate this group on the internet but as of yet I have not been able to do so.)
