Huge drop in newspaper circulation - UPDATED - is the industry fudging the numbers?

On Monday the Audit Bureau of Circulations will release circulation figures for more than 700 newspapers, and is expected to announce huge circulation declines. The Miami Herald, a McClatchy newspaper, is expected to announce a decline of more than 7%. Editor and Publisher link here.
