McClatchy includes bogus numbers in "round-up of daily violence" report

It's getting a little boring to harp on this, but somebody has to.

McClatchy's web site includes a "round-up of daily violence" in Iraq. The report from Monday November 26 included the 11 people reportedly slain by masked gunmen. Even though there was no confirmation by police, medical, or military sources (which seems to be an obvious violation of McClatchy's standards).

McClatchy now admits this story was a hoax and the murders were not committed.

But the 11 non-existent murders are still listed on the daily Iraq violence report from Monday November 26.

Sheesh.
