McClatchy reporter follows instructions to blame the Bush administration

This is bizzare. (And from yesterday's McClatchy news, it looks like the reporter followed instructions.)

Bush's former envoy on the issue told McClatchy Newspapers to put the blame on the administration. He said its failure to keep its promises to Turkey was forcing that country to intervene in Iraq to subdue the Kurdistan Workers Party — the PKK in its Kurdish initials — which the U.S. considers a terrorist organization.

UPDATE 9:10 AM: Warren Strobel has a history of being very accomodating to "former officials" who want to bash Bush. See here from 2004.

UPDATE 9:50 AM. Sheesh. Google "Warren Strobel according to former official" and here is what you get. Looks like "former officials" with complaints know Warren Strobel is their man.
