Looking down the list of former winners, I won't be surprised if Time picks someone far less impressive--like you and me (you'll remember we won last year). In any event, I think I can safely put THE WEEKLY STANDARD on record as pro-Petraeus this year. As Hugh objectively says, it's "the easiest choice ever." And the competition isn't very stiff.
