14 Islamic extremists planned attacks across Europe, have been charged in Barcelona

Fourteen Islamic Jihadists have been charged in Barcelona with planning terror attacks, according to this report. The group intended to carry out three attacks in Spain and one each in Portugal, France and Germany. The planned targets were public transportation networks, especially metro systems because of the difficulty which emergency services would have in reaching the injured. (Hat tip: PowerLine)
