Hillary Clinton explains how hard it is to be "other-directed"

On Meet the Press today, Hillary explained that the reason she welled up and became emotional on the campaign trail in New Hampshire is because she is so focused on other people that it caught her off gaurd when a voter asked her how she was doing.
“I spend my time out on the campaign trail — it’s usually about what I can do for somebody else,” she said. “I’m very 'other' directed — I don’t like talking about myself. ... For me, it’s always about, ‘What can I do for you? How can I help you?’ And I was very touched when that woman said, 'How are you doing? How do you get up in the morning?'”
It must be such a burden for Hillary to be focused on the needs of others.
