The New York Times has the details on John Edwards' latest absurd proposal. Will any voters buy this? I cannot imagine how anybody would think a blowhard politician with beautiful hair knows more than the generals actually in Iraq. But come to think of it, maybe Edwards' position isn't all that different from his rivals for the Dem nomination.
