Multi-National Force - Iraq announced today that 10 senior Al Qaeda operatives were killed or captured during December. Maj. Gen. Kevin Bergner gave a press conference in Baghdad today to provide information on security issues in Iraq. He identified the most senior Al Qaeda leaders that were killed or captured during December, provided updated information on the growth of Iraq's military capabilities, and discussed issues surrounding the Concerned Local Citizen groups.
Later today we'll find out if McClatchy had a reporter at the press conference. (McClatchy has a history of being AWOL from Baghdad press conferences.)
