I like to acknowledge entertainers who go to the Persian Gulf to entertain US troops stationed there. Today I learned about several current and former NFL players who went to Iraq to join US troops watching the Super Bowl. Above, players pose for a photograph at Forward Operating Base Warhorse, Iraq, February 3. The football stars signed autographs, gave away prizes and enjoyed the Super Bowl with the troops. From left: former Oakland Raider and Minnesota Viking linebacker Greg Biekert, current Buffalo Bills linebacker Paul Posluszny and former Carolina Panthers safety Mike Minter. Good for them.
This blog is mainly about the spectacular train wreck at The Sacramento Bee and its parent company, the McClatchy Company. But I also post about current events, the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, politics, anything else that grabs my attention. Take a look around this blog, hope you enjoy it.
