Iran's foreign minister says Iran wants the next US president to bring "change"

AP:

Iran's foreign minister said Wednesday his country hopes the next U.S. president will be a leader who can bring change because America's current policies have failed.

Iran is not concerned about "people or parties'' in the U.S. presidential election, Manouchehr Mottaki told reporters in Geneva.

But "whoever speaks of changes definitely would be more welcome,'' he said.

Mottaki did not mention any presidential hopeful by name. The three remaining candidates each have made change a part of their campaigns, most notably Sen. Barack Obama, who has made the idea central in his bid for the Democratic nomination.

I think it's safe to say Iran's foreign minister doesn't want John McCain to be president.
