The Competitive Enterprise Institute announced plans yesterday for a new ad campaign to highlight the "huge carbon footprint" of Al Gore. "He is the high priest of global warming but he continues his high-flying ways," said Sam Kazman, spokesman for the Institute. The new ad, which begins running on Tuesday, is meant to counter a new outreach by the Alliance for Climate Protection, an organization founded by Gore last year.
Last year, a study found Al Gore's posh Nashville mansion consumes 20 times the amount of energy used in the average American home.
