Hillary Clinton picked up another superdelegate endorsement today, as Bill George, a superdelegate from Pennsylvania, announced he is supporting Clinton.
The news accounts all note how this endorsement impacts the Dem race for the party nomination. But what caught my attention is Bill George's day job. He isn't an elected official, as most sueprdelegates are. Bill George is a union president.
Why should his vote carry more weight than a "regular" delegate? This looks elitist to me.
My previous post on the bizarre Dem superdelegate system is here.
