Peter Cacossa directs an OH-58 Kiowa helicopter from a rooftop towards the sound of small-arms fire heard during a raid in Mosul, Iraq, April 17. Kiowas support troops on the ground in contact. Cacossa is a platoon leader in Heavy Company, 3rd Squadron, 3d Armored Cavalry Regiment from Fort Hood, Texas.
