Republican congressman calls guard at green zone checkpoint "two bit security guard"

GOP congressman Patrick McHenry called a guard at a Baghdad checkpoint a “two-bit security guard” in a brief appearance Saturday night at a Lincoln County Republican Party event.

McHenry's speech was filmed and is making the rounds on YouTube. Here's what happened, as McHenry tells it in the speech. On his first morning in Baghdad, McHenry gets up and heads to the gym. At a checkpoint he gets stopped by a guard for not having credentials. During his speech, McHenry referred to the guard as a "two bit security guard." McHenry demands to see supervisor. The supervisor comes, and after 30 minutes McHenry doesn't get what he wants and they escort him back to his quarters.
