Shocker!... McClatchy locates former prisoners who claim they were abused

This photo accompanies today's McClatchy investigation on torture and abuses at Guantanamo. Notice the second sentence in the caption: "A McClatchy Newspapers investigation found that U.S. soldiers beat and mistreated many prisoners." But the McClatchy reporter's investigation consisted of interviewing former detainees. Which means McClatchy is reporting allegations as facts. Nice.

By the way, just for perspective, what are prisoner abuse claims at prisons inside the US? Did McClatchy offer any information about US prisons to give readers perspective? No, because that wouldn't fit the McClatchy anti-Bush narrative. The most infamous jail near Barack Obama's home is the Cook County jail. What are abuse claims there? Hmmm.
