To say he will be missed is inadequate, because his absence leaves a huge gaping hole that seems like it could never be filled. There is no political reporter on the horizon with the credibility and respect that Tim Russert commanded. Most today are more interested in gotcha games than the kind of probing analysis Russert was known for.
