We had a fantastic time at the Folsom Pro Rodeo last night.
One thing to tell you about. One of the early events is a skydiver parachuting out of a plane at 5,000 feet with a huge American flag. He descends slowly and lands inside the arena. Lee Greenwood's "Proud to be an American" plays over the loudspeakers. I found a YouTube video of this from last year's Folsom Rodeo. You can see people in the arena who try to keep the flag from touching the ground but they don't quite succeed. What you see on this video is about how it went last night, too. It is corny but thrilling to watch.
