There was nothing in today's Sacramento Bee about Obama saying that he would still oppose the surge, even knowing what we know now--that the surge in Iraq has been a success and has given Iraq a shot at a bright future. Terry Moran's interview with Obama was damaging to Obama, and exposed Obama's major weaknesses as a candidate. That is probably the reason the media --acting as Obama's booster squad --is not giving this interview the attention it deserves. A key excerpt (1:02):
