New Obama ad slams Iraq oil surplus (!?)

Obama has a strange new anti-McCain ad, criticizing Iraq over its oil surplus. How can this ad possibly damage McCain?? McCain and the surge enabled the oil surplus to happen, which is now powering Iraq's economy. I think most voters are glad Iraq's economy is growing. Hat tip (and screen shot) credit to Greg Pollowitz.

McClatchy looks at the facts in the ad and finds the ad misleading:
There are a few problems with the ad. First, it implies that Obama will save that $10 billion a month by ending the Iraq war. But he would keep many troops in Iraq. That would cost money. Second, he would transfer more troops to Afghanistan. That would take more of that money.
