New Obama children's book: "God speaks to Barry in church, telling him there is hope to last a lifetime"

I wish this was a parody post but it's not. Nikki Grimes has written a children's book on Barack Obama, entitled Son of Promise, Child of Hope. This is a book to avoid, judging by this except:

Even God himself talks to Barry while he's in church on Sunday, telling him: "Look around you. Now look to me. There is hope enough here to last a lifetime."

This Messianic stuff is seriously beyond the pale. Do libs really want to tell kids God speaks to Barry?

You can take some comfort knowing adults are already tired of hearing about Obama. The liberals have figured this out and have moved on to brainwashing children.
