This blog is mainly about the spectacular train wreck at The Sacramento Bee and its parent company, the McClatchy Company. But I also post about current events, the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, politics, anything else that grabs my attention. Take a look around this blog, hope you enjoy it.

McClatchy newspaper in Georgia goes green
McClatchy is losing money and laying off staff, but hey -- at least the new delivery bags are biodegradable.
McClatchy goes green...YEAH RIGHT!!! What happened to the "green" water based Flexo ink they used to print the Modesto Bee...ALL GONE! Now it's "biodegradeable" soy based, rub off on your hands, set off on the pages, clean up with solvent, oil based ink. I'm glad I don't have to mess with that stuff, too bad I can't still be printing with the Flexo inks!

Bet they came from India (The Dots).
It's just a test. Shortly they are going to begin printing their paychecks on biodegradable paper which will become worthless 30 seconds after issue.
