Kansas City Star looking for work-at-home individuals

From comments:
In today's edition of the KC Star Classifieds: The KC Star seeks work-at-home individuals to enter information from their personal computers into the KC Star database. This is for free-lancers not employment with the KC Star.
I'm assuming these free-lance data entry workers won't be getting benefits.

Where are the reporters on this story?

What was it a couple of weeks ago they were wanting readers to write stories and post them on their web site. They couldn't pay them but they offered them a place in the digital world.

Please save us from this!

Never fear, you are being saved as we speak. McLatchy's love of BO has guaranteed their demise.

McLatchy's papers will soon be sold off to local ownership at auction rates where they can return to productive and useful parts of their community without the San Francisco values.

2.35 per share and falling. Might be time to cover my short. Made a killing today. Thanks McLatchy!

If they start with a free lance work at home publishers, take the buy out. Just take the buy out. Don't ask. Don't pass Go. Just take the buy out.

They want you to take a buyout that's how their getting rid of the people making money otherwise there would be lawsuits on what their doing. Just look at the age of the people that are leaving.

What a paper! Readers writing stories free! India doing the AD work! Workers from home entering data!

I'm Speechless!!!!!!!!!!!!

The problem is a bunch of blind idiots will see this as their opportunity of 15 minutes of fame and take the freeloaders up on their offer. That's why there are (or were) unions!
Ad should read: Wanted: a bunch of dumb ass wannabe reporters to send us stories. No pay, no benefits, but we MIGHT print your name as a by line IF we decide to run your sorry ass poorly written unedited excuse for a story.

But isn't it interesting that the people now getting those buyouts are those that helped to get rid of the Unions..or at the very least, were hired at the expense of those Unions?
