McClatchy reporter says Truther nutjob expelled by Israel has "provocative" views

In a wise move, Israel expelled David Falk, the man sent by the UN to investigate Israel, after Falk was quoted in several articles and interviews hinting the 9/11 attacks weren't committed by Muslim terrorists. Falk has suggested 9/11 might have been an inside job, and has compared Israel to the Nazis.

Weighing in on the controversy, Dion Nissenbaum (left), McClatchy's Jerusalem bureau chief, doesn't see the big deal. Nissenbaum writes that Falk's views are "provocative." Actually, Falk's views are loony, absurd, and completely counterproductive to his UN assignment.

UN Watch gets to the point:

"The UN can't claim to oppose Al Qaeda terrorists while its officials seek to deny their most ghastly crimes."
