This blog is mainly about the spectacular train wreck at The Sacramento Bee and its parent company, the McClatchy Company. But I also post about current events, the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, politics, anything else that grabs my attention. Take a look around this blog, hope you enjoy it.

A 30 percent drop in the price of MNI today. Worst percentage loss for the year, I think. Did someone on Wall Street get an inside look at the bankruptcy papers Sacto is putting together?
I'm a McClatchy employee and I'm looking for inside information. I never, never find it here. Is that because you are not trusted from within the ranks? Is it because you were a bad journalist? Please, wise McClatchy Watch, let us know why this blog lacks the insight of other industry blogs. I'm pretty sure it's because you, well, aren't very good at what you do, did or will do.
No you're not. You're the gay caballero (probably a shut in) who spends his day spamming for that Garnett cheerleader.
Either that or Dereck Donovan waiting for a new obituary to file. If you are, did you know that little old lady that used to run the library was much better than you.
At Fitz & Jen: There is a picture of a horserace and a caption:
“After The Bell Thursday: McClatchy Back In The Race To A Buck-A-Share” http://tinyurl.com/3v4rka ----------- I wonder if the upstanding journalists that found the shoe toss funny might also enjoy the horseracing picture? Disrespect is so amusing, isn’t it?
I don't believe it possible to make a case for McClatchy deserving any sort of respect. They've defrauded investors, customers and legitimate employees alike, for over 20 years now.

They are not bothering to defend it from falling below $1.
Speaking about the greatest Ponzi schemes in history, ever hear this one about the son of a motel manager......
52 week low at the 98 cent point.
