This blog is mainly about the spectacular train wreck at The Sacramento Bee and its parent company, the McClatchy Company. But I also post about current events, the Iraq and Afghanistan wars, politics, anything else that grabs my attention. Take a look around this blog, hope you enjoy it.

Great work!
You got nearly a third as many hits in a month as The N&O's site for moms.
I feel lucky to have discovered this blog. There is a great mix of opinions from experts, to cleaver humorists, to nut & bolts people. I enjoy the open banter, with a bit of salty language thrown in for good measure. Bravo!
Snark says: You got nearly a third as many hits in a month as The N&O's site for moms. *** The sneer and smear tactics of the N&O were legion during the last election. Their biased reporting reeked with dishonesty. They used their phony ‘Truth to Power’ like a low-class pimp for Barry Soetoro aka Barack Obama.
There were obvious voting violations recorded, and shown on TV, that were never mentioned again. There were illegal ACORN activities never exposed. I hope they go out of business. I feel for the employees, but perhaps they can become part of a more honest media the people deserve.

You earned it. You traffic should explode next week, when MNI implodes.
Yeah a third as many hits and he did it without going $2 billion in debt.
Awsome.
At the same time, McClatchy had its worst month ever!
Is there some kind of correlation?
Has anyone told the McClatchy's that their web sites are not very popular.
There is nothing new and sparkling about them.
They are behind the times in this field and the are letting unseasoned people do the work.
If they lose the best journalist, who cares about looking at their Web Sites.
Just a few people interested in what is going on in Hollywood and trendy information, not hard core news.
Advertisers want all this before they pay big bucks. For instance, The New York Times.
They know how to sell Web and Print together.

Archer05, I agree.
"Dinosaur Media Death Watch in real time."
Next week should be a real Knee Slapper. I mean, blood cougher.
