More Hamas propaganda from McClatchy

Another day, another McClatchy article on the Gaza conflict full of Hamas propaganda. The latest is a gut-wrenching McClatchy piece by Shashank Bengali and Dion Nissenbaum on the heartache caused by Israeli forces bombing a mosque.

The title -- "Mosques destroyed by Israeli strikes, Gazans pray outdoors" -- gives you a hint McClatchy portrays the Palestinians as devout and peace-loving victims of Israel's war-mongering policies.

Just one sentence -- out of seventeen paragraphs -- mentions Israel's claim that mosques in Gaza are being used to store weapons.

McClatchy is misleading readers about what is going on in the mosques in Gaza. Below is a video for you that shows what religious leaders in Gaza are allowing inside mosques- this video shows rockets and other weapons inside a Gaza mosque. (And what a coincidence -- a Hamas battalion commander just  happens to live next door to the mosque.)

Dion Nissenbaum's failure to tell readers what is really going on in the mosques tells me Nissenbaum is little more than an agent of Hamas propagandists.
.

UPDATE: Via Archer05, Hamas is violating 6 provisions in international law: deliberate targeting of civilians; attacking with rockets from within civilian areas; abusing humanitarian instruments to launch attacks, such as using ambulances to transport weapons; public incitement to genocide; and the recruitment of children into armed conflict. (Article by Ron Radosh here.)

Here is my favorite that just so happened to be posted after one of his "poor us" propaganda pieces a week or two ago. Only McClatchy would try and garner sympathy even when they are mounting artillery in the mosques.

Thanks, I like your video better... I'm going to put up the one you pointed me to.

Dion Nissenbaum forgot to tell us a little something. The Israelis gave warning to the Gaza residents. I wonder why he didn’t tell us about the phone calls and flyers?
----------
“Israeli soldiers said the military is doing more than most armies to protect civilians. The Israeli military said it has placed thousands of calls to Palestinians to warn them that their homes, buildings or neighborhoods were going to be bombed. And the military has dropped thousands of flyers carrying similar warnings for Gaza residents.”

Re: Yael T. Abouhalkah at the KC Scar

It looks like Yael is just another one of the recycled Knight Ridder boys. Geez, how many Arab/Americans are there in the McClatchy tent? Why doesn’t someone at McClatchy write just pro-Israel articles? All the Ridder boys seem to be so anti-Israel it is sickening. Whatever happened to just staying neutral and reporting the facts?

Archer05 -- Dion Nissenbaum has whined repeatedly about Israel keeping reporters out of Gaza...

I think he figured out the more he whines about not being able to get into Gaza, the more his bosses won't notice if he stays inside his apartment and prints whatever his Hamas stringers come up with. Piece of cake!

Israel keeping reporters out of Gaza…”

What good would it do to let the anti-Israel McCrappy liars inside?

“All the better to eat you, my dear.”

Safety in numbers. If the media, as a whole stick to the same liberal mantra, and hold collective hands as they spin down the toilet, maybe not all of them will get flushed.

Ironically, this tired, old and so predictable “boy who cried wolf” strategy, is simply another reason never to buy a paper. (Yawn)

You mean all the McClatchy liars, or the war reporting stooges in particular?

Little details you’re NOT going to read in a McClatchy rag.

-Israel Must Defeat Hamas-

Excerpt:
As awful as the situation in Gaza is, an important point was made today by law professor Irwin Cotler of McGill University. Cotler shows that Hamas is violating six different provisions of established international law: deliberate targeting of civilians; attacking with rockets from within civilian areas; abusing humanitarian instruments to launch attacks, such as using ambulances to transport weapons; public incitement to genocide; and the recruitment of children into armed conflict.

To any non-liberals who knew Dion when he worked in California as a reporter for the San Jose Mercury News, his notoriety is no surprise. He was one of the most openly liberal reporters in the state, nakedly hostile to Republicans and eagerly supportive of Democrats such as former Governor Gray Davis.

Regardless of the issue, if you were a GOP official talking to him, you were suspect and deserving of his contempt, which showed through in all of his reporting. If however you were a favored Democrat, there was no limit to the crap he would gladly publish on your behalf.

In person as well he was, to my not-so-objective eyes, one of the most self-absorped and arrogant smarmy sob's ever to wear a press credential.

He has, and does willingly misquote his subjects if what they say in response to his questioning doesnt match his preconceived idea of what his storyline is.

Dude is the poster boy for blindered, lazy, biased liberal agenda-driven reporters. An abject disgrace of a reporter, and not much better as a human being. That makes him a perfect fit for today's MSM.
