Overheard in the newsroom...

Overheard:
"This job would be great if it wasn’t for the readers. Thank God we’ve almost taken care of that.”

Very funny. Tragic that capitalism got in the way of a good thing

Very Funny, but even more tragic is that is pretty much exactly the attitude you find in a typical newsroom today. There has always been a sickly sense of elitism, but once the leftist invasion took hold it became unfathomable. All the while, the average IQ was replaced by the Affirmative Action score.

JUST graduated with a BS in JRNL and CANNOT find a job for anything. YAY FOR POINTLESS EDUCATION

When is someone going to go after these colleges? They know there are few, if any jobs. What they are doing is disgraceful. Plus, experienced staff people, are being replaced with new grads that will gladly start at $20,000 a year, or even less.

12:o6 Why do you think colleges are responsible for finding you a job? They provide educations, not job training. Air conditiner repair might provide you with better prospects.
