The news media in the USA might soon be identified with the codename - Pravda. NewsBusters has the skinny on the forthcoming manufactured and censored press conferences. The words ‘News Minders’ comes to mind. ---------------- -Sun-Times: Journalists Being Shut Out by Obama- "The press corps, most of us, don't even bother raising our hands any more to ask questions because [Obama always has before him a list of correspondents] who've been [advised] they will be called upon that day."
Short interest: 17,643,369 Avg Daily Vol : 701,061 Days to Cover: 25.1525
Only a little over 100,000 shorts covered in the last two weeks of Dec. This explains MNI's rush below 1.00 as there was no buying at all to prop the price up.
Expect the next report to show significant covering as new millionaires cash in, sucking up the value that MNI has so foolishly squandered.

I wanted to give you the latest details of our content sharing agreement with the Dallas Morning News.
Beginning Feb. 1, we will make available our beat coverage of the Texas Rangers to The News. In turn, they will provide coverage of the Dallas Stars and Dallas Mavericks. The two papers will not change the way they cover the Dallas Cowboys.
Our columnists will continue to write about the Stars and Mavs, but we won’t be sharing that content. We will supplement our coverage with other staff stories about the teams as we see fit, and we also plan to share coverage of some college teams and a few other sporting events.
This only works because both papers have nationally recognized sports sections. This arrangement allows both papers to reduce expenses, eliminate duplicative stories and still maintain high quality exclusive coverage our readers have come to expect.
